Scope Of Work
The renovation for Tatem Brown was a one year four phase project for our valued client, Virtua in South Jersey. Tatem Brown was a 100% renovation of an existing commercial office space into a medical out- patient facility. The construction include nine new AHU on the rooftop, complete demo of the existing offices, installation of a new reception area, new labs and exam rooms. The building remained operational throughout construction. Phase one required all patients and staff moving to the other half of the building and the construction of a demising wall to separate patient care from construction. The raised flooring was completely removed to add new sanitary waste lines. We infilled the floor area with high density structural foam and poured a 5”of concrete overlay to meet the existing floor level.
Structural work and steel members were added to the existing bar joist framing to support the AHU units. After completing phase one the medical staff moved into the newly renovated area. The four phased project was completed in a one year period without delays and 100 % occupancy was possible with substantial completion meeting Client, Design Team, and Contractor expectations.
