Scope Of Work

Orbital Technologies Corporation, located in Madison, WI, had operated its business from multiple different building locations for many years but desired to bring its facilities and people under a single roof. With a vision to meet the immediate need of consolidating office and laboratory operations, the project also called for providing space for Orbital Technologies to expand into as their business continues to grow. This was accomplished by providing additional offices connected by a common entry which could be leased to other tenants in the short term and provide the interconnected expansion space that was anticipated in the future.

Acting as the overall design+build firm for the project, FoxArneson engaged Gary Brink and Associates to assist in developing the look and feel of the building. Additionally, structural and mechanical engineering specialists were brought in to complete the design phase. An unusual triangular lot, unique parking lot and strict business park building requirements added challenging hurdles to the design+build process. Through careful planning, thoughtful design and effective project management and communication, FoxArneson was able to fulfill all of the owner’s goals for their new space.
