Scope Of Work
The project consisted of construction renovations and repair to existing conditions in the X-Ray Rooms in Building 25501, Snyder Clinic, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center. The existing floor plan was not conducive for the operation of the current dental x-ray equipment. Site preparation and floor plan modifications were necessary for the safety and wellbeing of the patients and staff. Direct patient care activities, patient/visitor/staff safety, and building physical security could not be compromised or disrupted at any time by construction activities. Valiant developed and implemented infection control and interim life safety measures to maintain integrity of code-compliant building egress and systems throughout construction. The construction scope of work involved selective demolition; hazardous materials abatement; carpentry; joint sealants; insulation; doors, frames, and hardware; lead shielded interior glazing; interior finishes, including lead shielded gypsum wall board partitions; casework; specialties; equipment; and mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and communications systems upgrades.
