Scope Of Work
Hunter Roberts Construction Group provided pre-construction and construction management services for the development of Xfinity Live!, a high end destination retail, dining, and entertainment district in the area adjacent to the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia, PA. The location is on the former site of the Spectrum arena (1967-2010), which Hunter Roberts demolished to make way for the project.
The 60,000 SF Phase 1 portion of the project features retail and restaurant space including the “world’s largest multi-story sports bar.”
An Xfinity On Demand Theater, a 24-foot wide Sony LED video board which will show both sports games and family movies
Two full-service kitchens, one 8,000 SF and the other 15,000 SF
The NBC Sports Arena, featuring an indoor 32-foot diagonal, million-dollar Sony LED screen
The NBC Sports Field, which will play host to numerous outdoor activities and free concerts
Victory Beer Hall, featuring beer hall-style tables, a stage for live indoor entertainment, and a 2,000-SF patio complete with a fire pit and a unique panoramic view of the Philadelphia skyline
A 100-foot LED Comcast SportsNet Ticker inside a venue called the Philly MarketPlace, a gathering place with food vendors including the Original Philadelphia Cheesesteak Co., Chickie’s & Pete’s, and Nick’s Roast Beef; more will be announced
Spectrum Grille, an upscale restaurant dubbed “the crown jewel of Xfinity Live!”
Broad Street Bullies Pub featuring the NBC Sports Game Experience
PBR Bar & Grill, a country-western theme based on Professional Bull Riders; Tex-Mex cuisine served during the day and a country and southern rock party at night (featuring a mechanical bull)
