Scope Of Work

This most recent Outokumpu project (J.M. Cope has been the builder on three, totaling 110,000 sf) is a stainless steel rebar processing facility. The project consisted of new 60,000 sf, pre-engineered metal building facility and all associated site work. Major project elements included mass-grading, concrete pavement, segmented block retaining wall, concrete foundations and formed trenches for owner equipment, and the pre-engineered building supporting two overhead cranes. Twelve exterior overhead door openings and two interior high-speed doors were included in the scope. Additionally, an 8,000 sf metal stud framed interior office space with conference room, offices, break-room and locker space was provided. Project conditions required extensive soil remediation due to unsuitable soils.
