Scope Of Work

This was a great job to keep a couple guys busy for a few weeks.  The pond had been roughed in when the gas plant was originally built, but the bottom didn't flow and the top had to be raised 1'-2' all the way around.  There was a stockpile of dirt on-site, so after we got the bottom of the pond dug out to the correct depth, it was fairly quick work to move dirt to the top with our Komatsu 500 loader.  Once everything was graded, we installed a precast outlet structure at the existing outlet pipe and then graded for trickle channels from all four inlet swales.  We formed and poured our own trickle channels, added rip rap to all the inlet swales and built the dirt-covered rip rap weir.  There were also some minor grading improvements between the property and the road to insure any overflow would channel to the natural run-off ditch.
