Overall project site consisted of clearing, grubbing, filling, compacting and grading one acre (40,000SF) of land for the badging/pass office building, pass office parking lot, tractor trailer parking area and entry/exit lanes. Work included perimeter fencing (1000LF), site drainage, underground 6” water and sewage piping and underground electrical feeder circuit, perimeter lighting, 3-1/2” thick asphalt paving (20,000SF), concrete sidewalk, drainage culverts, pavement and traffic marking/striping. The 1500 SF energy efficient badging/pass office was constructed on a concrete slab-on-grade, with split face masonry, a continuous concrete bond beam and adjoining porte-cochere with entire structure’s roof system comprised of wood trusses with architectural standing seam metal roofing system. Building included modern electrical, geothermal HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, fire detection and intrusion detection systems for the three offices, two bathrooms, three badging/pass areas, mechanical/electrical rooms and lobby/waiting areas.
