Scope Of Work

Partnering with Sunrise Senior Living to provide quality living space for seniors, Bernards built this six-story 80-unit facility in the coastal community of Playa Vista. Comprised of over 65,000 SF within a carefully designed community setting, the new assisted living complex features emergency-call systems in each room, card-key operated entry for security on each floor, two floors dedicated to seniors with memory impairments, full kitchen and dining facilities, a back-up power generator, common spaces, and mature landscaping.

The owner changed the programming of the building during construction which resulted in the majority of changes. The city also mandated certain building code changes after the permit was issued.
