Scope Of Work

Continuing an ongoing collaborative relationship with Sunrise Senior Living, Bernards completed construction of this new two-story, 68-unit residential care facility located on an irregularly-shaped parcel with a 15,500 SF parking area below grade.

The complex provides personalized assistance and senior care within a comfortable residential-style setting and includes accommodations for the memory impaired, care-giver stations, living quarters, kitchen and dining facilities, common areas, subterranean garage and lush landscaping.

Bernards was running approximately two months ahead of schedule thanks to good weather conditions, a surplus of available labor due to a slowdown in the housing market, and our decision to brace masonry walls and back fill basements three weeks prior to initial date.
