Reliant is different is a small HVAC contractor that maintains complete control of unnecessary business expenses that much larger HVAC establishment contractors have. The founder of Reliant is well known within his circle for how much per hour and gross revenue a single person can make with only a technical certificate from a local technical schools industrial maintenance HVAC/R program with zero student loans to pay back. Reliant is also known for outstanding communication skills with customers going out of the way to explain details of the HVAC work that needs completed and why. These communication skills develop trust between Reliant and it's customers. When customers experience the guaranteed service Reliant provides along with OTC pricing of HVAC services, word of mouth referrals have increased business profit margin per Reliant member. This allows Reliant to comfortably keep overhead expenses very low.

WHY DID RELIANT GET STARTED?

Reliant was established for many reasons that were out of the control of the founder. The founder was going to become a registered nurse anesthesis in the fall of 1992. But the university chosen was under probation for the lack of it's students being able to pass the state board licensing tests. The university clamped down it's nursing program and corrected the problems. Couple this environment along with university expectations of the students ability to retain knowledge in the text books, the founder of Reliant yielded to the stress involved in learning and retaining what was expected to pass the state boards and changed schools and professions. In 1994, the founder entered into an industrial maintenance HVAC/R program at a local community college. In 2001 the founder accepted a maintenance mechanic job with Enron to work at Eli Lilly in Clinton, IN. In 2002, Enron went bankrupt and 35 employees were let go. In 2006, Reliant was founded and grown while working as utility maintenance mechanic at Sony DADC. In 2012, the founder of Reliant was able to work full time providing HVAC services in Terre Haute, IN. It was at this time the Reliant founder became independent and self sufficient not needing or depending on anyone for survival and truly began Living the Dream!
