Scope Of Work

Ellis Island is both a National Historic and World Heritage Site.  The site includes a museum, facility support buildings, and open park areas. Hurricane Sandy devastated the island and museum complex and Asturian was selected to perform the three-phase restoration, rehabilitation, and new construction requirements.

Our team performed the restoration of the basement areas, reconstruction of administrative areas, installation of new museum area lighting, construction of a new facility support services building, replacement of historical windows and doors, major mechanical upgrades, new security forces offices, reconstruction of conference spaces, and site related improvements.
