Scope Of Work
Breaking ground in October 2011, Dean Snyder Construction completed a Business Support Facility for McFarland Clinic PC in Ames, IA. The building is located at the corners of 12th Street and Carroll Avenue and features five different types of brick, a geothermal heating and cooling system, and has two area wells allowing for natural light for the lower level.
With McFarland Clinic PC being a regional provider in specialized medical care, this 25,000 SF, multi-level office building is a result of needed expansion from their main campus on Duff Ave in Ames, adjacent to Mary Greeley Medical Center. The new all brick facility houses their information technology (IT) department as well as their marketing department and Mary Greeley Medical Center’s IT department.
Dean Snyder Construction was chosen not only for their competitive bid for the project but also for the speed of the construction.
