Scope Of Work

Unified Building Group (UBG)  was selected based on their extensive history and experience through out the State of Florida.  UBG was hired to perform construction management, general  & roofing contracting services for one of the worlds largest communications, network services, security, cloud solutions, voice and managed services providers.

UBG provided renovation, tenant improvement, new construction, decommissioning, facilities management & disaster recovery services.  Unified was responsible for all site, civil, concrete, asphalt paving, new construction,  demolition and  replacement of all ceilings, carpet, restroom, closets, mechanical rooms, electrical panels,  HVAC,  systems, plumbing & electrical fixtures & power outlets,  decommissioning, renovation, mechanical, electrical, plumbing & structural upgrades.  In addition UBG was responsible for all fire alarm and suppression upgrades.

During the fast tracking & construction of this mission critical project, Unified and customer were also faced with managing the disaster recovery of Hurricane Michael.  Hurricane Michael was the first Category 5 hurricane to strike the contiguous United States since Andrew in 1992. In addition, it was the third-most intense Atlantic hurricane to make landfall in the contiguous United States in terms of pressure, behind the 1935 Labor Day hurricane and Hurricane Camille of 1969.
