Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley challenged BSI to assist in creating an extraordinary extended-stay experience that is memorable and radically unique and relevant to their patients’ needs.

OSI emphasized the importance of integrating family within the entire extended-stay experience. BSI provided distinct zones for patients, family members and care givers that were calming and non-clinical in feel. The facility has the feel of a luxury hotel with personalized services for patients and individualized, customizable rooms

To discuss key issues and updates, BSI held regular bi-weekly project meetings on-site with the Construction Manager and numerous caregivers who would be working in the space after completion.

BSI met OSI’s vision for the project by completing it within the five-month time frame; using evidenced-based design in all aspects of the environment; and by providing a warm, personalized environment for patients.
