Alan Reid's Bio
Alan Reid brings more than 20 years of management experience to Steel Nation, providing leadership and experience to new business development, internal process improvement, and establishing corporate infrastructure. He has a deep background in management consulting and helping start-up companies develop their processes and organizations. Throughout his career, Alan has honed his skills in management consulting with USC Consulting Group and served as a leader to several niche start-up technology companies like Pollen, Inc. (now C2FO), FreeMarkets (now a part of SAP), CombineNet, an advanced sourcing application platform, and Hubwoo, a global leader of cloud procurement solutions and services. Alan has continually helped to increase sales and develop teams focused on growth and overall effectiveness.
Mark Caskey's Bio
Mark Caskey Steel Nation Buildings in 2008. As a resident of Western Pennsylvania, Mark followed the industry that cropped up in the region the beginning of the Marcellus Shale boom. When he visited one of the first Marcellus compressor stations near his office, Mark was appalled by the noise levels. Drawing upon his years of experience erecting steel buildings for the coal industry, Mark saw an opportunity to the oil and gas industry with specialty-designed steel buildings that are cool, quiet, and safe. Steel Nation Buildings was then conceived.
Mark Caskey is instrumental in leading the entire Design-Build process for Steel Nation. From the design of projects, through estimating, contract negotiations, scheduling and safety, Mark oversees the construction management of all energy-related projects. To date, Mark has lead the Steel Nation team in over 1,500 projects for all of the leading mid-stream, gas processing and transmission energy companies.

Mark Dooley's Bio
Mark joined Steel Nation in May of 2016. As Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, Mark provides executive leadership to the finance team and assists in the development of financial analytical tools. He will lead the continued growth of the organization with a focus on expansion of engineering services and other ‘non-energy’ markets. Additionally, he provides leadership to the environmental business and internal corporate oversight of insurance coverages (liability and healthcare).
Mark Dooley has an extensive background in operations, general management, sales, and finance. His expertise has expanded from the financial services market to healthcare. Mark has worked with corporations such as Conseco, General Electric and most recently UnitedHealth Group/Optum. While at Optum he led a $24M diversified, worldwide operation comprised of training, quality assurance, claims, auditing, and testing.
Mark Dooley is growing the environmental side of the Steel Nation business to meet the increasing demands of reclamation projects on oil and gas lands. The mission is to restore site stability and ecosystem functions, returning disturbed lands to their original use or use prior to disturbance.

Carl Weber has worked in the commercial construction industry since 2002. Focused primarily on detailing, estimating, value engineering, process improvement, metric collection, managing large groups of team members and providing customers with in time deliverables. Always promoted due to exceeding expectations by employer. Very hard working and business oriented. Also very personal and driven.

Shawn Omer's Bio
Shawn began his career in the pre-engineered metal building industry on the fabrication floor in 1992. He has held several positions in the industry, working his way up to quality assurance/customer service manager for a PEMB manufacturer. Throughout his career, he has worked to improve the quality and functionality of the end product. Shawn became an AWS-Certified welding inspector in 2005 and has been part of several quality organizations. He has a strong background in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Since 1992, Shawn has taken on several roles in the industry to expand his skill set. Working as a field service representative for many years, he learned how to remedy common problems faced by building erectors. He taught building erector certification classes and served as an Inspector for all standing seam installations. With his transition to the construction side of the industry in 2014, Shawn is better able to appreciate and communicate the customers’ requirements.
Shawn has been a Project Manager on several building projects for many of the large gas producers. He has further developed his skill set allowing him to manage complete turnkey building systems. With an effort toward promoting a better building purchasing experience, he works closely and coordinates the team effort among customers and Steel Nation personnel. Shawn has been heavily involved with all aspects of the construction process.
His well-rounded background and experience in fabrication, building erection, and construction gives Shawn the perspective and expertise to take a customer’s plan from inception to a high quality functional building project.

Kerry Green's Bio
Kerry has been a part of the Steel Nation team since November 2015. He has 30 plus years in the construction industry, almost all of it in the industrial sector. Kerry’s foremost responsibility is Business Development Manager, all the while working to expand the Steel Nation brand into other new markets.
Along the way he has managed many large scale new construction projects as well as rebuilding and retro fitting existing facilities to allow clients such as Owens Corning to more efficiently produce everything from glass, fiberglass and roofing materials, National Gypsum to update production processes for drywall, and PPG in rebuilding glass furnaces and production lines. He has also worked with energy producers and suppliers such as Allegheny Energy and American Electric Power, and for the past decade in many MarkWest, Williams, and Enbridge gas processing and compression facilities.
Ryan Helbling's Bio
Ryan Helbling is the Director of Facility Services for Steel Nation. Ryan Joined Steel Nation in April, 2018 to create the new Facility Services division from the ground up. He created a team of three and built Facility Services into a sustainable business group in two years. His team is responsible for preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs and retrofit work at hundreds of natural gas, industrial and commercial facilities in the region.
Ryan grew up in Peters Township, Pennsylvania and graduated from Peters Township High School. After high school, he attended Bowling Green State University and majored in Construction Management. While at Bowling Green, Ryan joined Air Force ROTC and upon graduation earned a commission in the United States Air Force as a Civil Engineer Officer. During his time in the Air Force, Ryan was stationed at Hurlburt Field, Florida as a member of Air Force Special Operations Command and served multiple deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
After separating from the Air Force Ryan returned home and joined PJ Dick Inc as a Project Engineer and later as a Superintendent. He spent 5 years with PJ Dick on many large, commercial construction projects including hospitals, office buildings, and hotels.
Prior to joining Steel Nation, Ryan spent 3 years as a Superintendent for Walbridge-Aldinger where he worked on large projects including a historical, full exterior renovation of Tampa’s Old City Hall and a large expansion project at the Ford Rouge auto plant in Dearborn, Michigan.

During the past 12 years, Adam has served as Vice President, Assistant Corporate Controller at Michael Baker International where he managed the corporate accounting team as well as supervised multiple other operating companies’ monthly close, internal/external reporting and acquisitions due diligence/integration. Adam brings more than 20 years of combined experience with both private and public companies within industries that include Engineering, Manufacturing, Retail, and Public Accounting. At Steel Nation, Adam is also involved with Steel Nation mergers and acquisitions.
