Scope Of Work
Although this project was fairly small, it had a large set of obstacles to overcome. The series of columns and beams had to be installed on the first floor of an office building with a standard door as entry for a prototype glass wall.
Luckily we have a mini crane that can handle such a challenge! With the help of machine skates and the cover of night, we were able to fish in a 30' 10x60 I beam into the space and erect everything at night. The image of the crane about was during the day to test for noise/reach. We failed the noise test, however the little crane runs on clean burning propane so there was no noticeable odor. Because of the mechanical elements being attached, our tolerances only got that much tighter once we got everything into the building.
