Scope Of Work
Challenges:
The location of this building required special expertise to overcome the soils in place. Due to previous use of the land, work was needed in order to stabilize the soil and foundation so that future problems would not occur. The owners of the property also wanted to match existing buildings in the immediate area of the Indian Creek Development in Hendersonville.
Resolutions
Baron Construction relied upon Ram Aggregate Piers to drill large holes that were filled with gravel or aggregate to prevent structural settlement. This uncommon solution to the problem strengthens surround soil and allows the construction on prime property that may not have been viable in the past. We also matched the stone, brick, and EIFS façade to match the look and architecture of the surrounding area according the to the building plan and design approved by the property owners.
