Scope Of Work

This project included the construction of one large clinker storage silo at a cement manufacturing mine in central Texas. This particular silo was the third of three identical silos constructed next to each other on this site. This silo is approximately 75’ in diameter and 186’ in height and stores clinker, a product made during the cement manufacturing process. We also installed the mechanical package for this silo which included: the bucket elevator, the fill conveyor and accompanying bridge on the roof connecting the second and third clinker silos, the withdraw conveyor and bridge inside the large tunnel below at grade, as well as all of the structural steel required for supporting all of this mechanical equipment.
