Scope Of Work
C&S Construction has completed work on Harlem Rehabs, the gut-renovation of 126-residential apartments, over six buildings, including 75% of the buildings structural wooden floor joists being replaced, at approximately 88,502SF. Constructed in accordance with, and exceeding HPD and Green Communities thermal and energy efficiency standards, the project serves as affordable housing for low income families in the community. Built over two phases, the six-building project includes two New York City Landmark buildings, three buildings with newly built ramps and two buildings with on-site laundry. Harlem Rehabs seeks to provide accessibility to its residents, with all six buildings incorporating handicap access along with 14 designated ADA apartments, and smart remote mechanical system controls.
