Scope Of Work
The Cabela's Data Center is a single story, slab-on-grade, precast structure containing a 13,800-square-foot Tier III data center with extra tall ceiling, exterior mechanical courtyard, two-bay loading dock and 1,300 square feet of office space. The building envelope was designed and built to withstand severe weather events and maintain an ideal interior environment, with no air or water infiltration in the data center space.
The facility uses a Dual bus 750KVA UPS and has 100 percent backup generation with provisions for automatic throw over. An energy efficient cooled water system was incorporated, with 24/7 chilled water production and redundant chillers, pumps, piping systems and air handling equipment. The Computer Room air conditioning units utilize electronically commutated motors for greatly reduced fan energy. The facility has extremely low potable water usage due to low flow plumbing fixtures and air cooled mechanical systems.
