THE CHALLENGE

Recently added to the Audi program, AutoStone was challenged with making sure the facility reflected the exacting demands of the Audi “Terminal” facility program. The client was challenged with a tight budget and short construction schedule. To complicate things further this job required our crew to work a flexible schedule to accommodate multiple trades interfacing as this project neared completion.

AUTOSTONE’S ANSWER

AutoStone’s premier installation team completed the facility on time while working through many construction changes and while accommodating other trades while AutoStone was working. Even though AutoStone crews were delayed in many phases of this project by changing construction time lines, AutoStone never missed the completion date. AutoStone finished on schedule and ahead of the clients requested completion date! AutoStone maintained the initial contract budget and did not charge for change orders when construction time lines were changed or shortened. In the end, AutoStone saved this dealership $ 50K over competing bids while maintaining the established initial construction contract and without requesting charges for change orders! Easy to work with, on schedule and on budget – AutoStone proved to be the best solution!

The GC was astounded with AutoStone’s ability to execute the complexities of the changing construction time line and complete the project on-time and as initially contracted. The dealership (owner) was very pleased that they were not charged for change orders requested of AutoStone by the GC. The brand (Audi) representatives were pleased that their image was executed in such a high quality manner. The (Audi) regional managers exclaimed that this was one of the best Audi facilities they had seen. Everyone was ecstatic with the final result! In the end, the owner realized significant cost savings from using AutoStone.
