Scope Of Work
General contracting services for the successful completion of a medical waste processing facility in Vernon, CA. An existing 15,000-sf building and two-acre site was completely remodeled and converted to a new state-of-the-art medical waste treatment and transfer facility. The project included new site utilities & flatwork, new office spaces and processing area with loading dock, material conveyance system, boiler system, two high capacity steam autoclave’s and a compactor. The project began in November 2009, completed, tested and approved for operation by the State of California April 2010. The project also obtained LEED Silver certification by the USGBC.
