Scope Of Work

In support of this high visibility, inner-city rehabilitation project, TGE executed comprehensive built environment assessment services (asbestos, lead, hazardous materials) for this aged & abandoned hospital campus. Under an aggressive schedule to secure rehab (Federal) funds for housing, TGE prepared abatement project specifications & detailed drawings, estimated schedules, & submitted highly reliable cost projections for use by the development team. With its early 1900s initial construction, the campus was deemed "historically significant"; given its multiple episodes of construction/renovation, removal of hazards & implementation of the rehab design would prove challenging. With project experience dating back to 1994, TGE advanced the process under significant institutional knowledge. Notwithstanding extensive damage due to exposure, vandalism, & moisture intrusion; & an absence of power, TGE completed this full hazard assessment on time & within budget.
