Scope Of Work

The National Gallery East Building is repairing and restoring each of the 17,000 marble panels that make up the building's façade. All the restoration was being completed on the property which involved building a stone shop and stone storage yard. Blackwood was hired by Smoot/Balfour Beatty to install all the temporary foundations for the Climbing Mast Scaffolding, the foundations for the stone repair shop and storage yard. Additionally, Blackwood installed new pavers for the terrace outside the glass office of the Director of the gallery.
