Scope Of Work
The National Mall and Memorial Parks renovated the lawn between 3rd and 7th Streets on the mall. The project included installation of sustainable systems for irrigation and soil control. Blackwood's scope included building the irrigation pump house designed to house four 250,000 gallon cisterns for the irrigation system, installing all the granite curbing around the lawn panels that were designed with built in drains to capture stormwater. We also installed new exposed aggregate sidewalks around the perimeter of the project.
