Scope Of Work
Blackwood was hired by HESS Construction + Engineering to build the new 22,500 SF Francis Gregory Library. It was a LEED Silver project designed by the famous architect, David Adjaye, and woven from timber and glass. The smaller two story structure was designed with a checkerboard glass exterior to bring light into all the spaces. It was built using minimal columns to keep the space open and flexible.
