Scope Of Work
The Baldwin School project consisted of the renovation of an existing 11,000 square foot gymnasium into a performing arts center featuring a flexible performance hall. The Center features prime acoustics and lighting, while offering flexibility in stage and seating configurations. Performances ranging from an intimate piano recital for 50 guests to full-scale theatrical productions for an audience of 300 will be perfectly accommodated. A state-of-the-art control room allows students to learn the ins and outs of production. Inclusive of ticketing and concessions counters, the lobby and adjacent green room hosts rehearsals, art exhibits, lectures, and other school events. A new 5,000 square foot vestibule was also constructed. The fully renovated space includes all new MEP systems, theatrical and audiovisual systems.
