Scope Of Work

The full renovation of the 2nd floor suite of the 2112 Suburban Outpatient Pavilion provided a high-end finished clinic and integrated a state-of-the-art laboratory. This 6,000 square foot floorplan consisted of a waiting room with reception desk, offices, exam rooms, andrology lab, embryology lab, utility closets for IT, electrical, mechanical, and medical gases. All new electrical, mechanical, finishes were supplied and installed.
Warfel worked hand-in-hand with the office manager to provide daily updates as well as weekly coordination meetings to ensure proper installation of all specialty equipment and sophisticated interior design. Client-requested custom upgrades and changes were adapted during the construction phase. A key milestone was the start-up of a new air-handler unit within the suite – delivered in segments through the freight elevator and assembled in place.
An expedited construction approach was implemented with night and day shifts to reduce the noise impact to adjacent suites as well as meeting aggressive project completion target dates. The facility was subdivided into quadrants to successfully allow multiple trade partners to work uninterrupted.
