Scope Of Work
Bertino & Associates, the lead Partner in a Joint Venture with URS, were selected as the Program Manager, Owner’s Agent for the most recent expansion project at Foxwoods Resort and Casino.
This $700 million dollar Project is a free standing hotel and casino designed to compliment the extraordinary existing facilities and to provide additional meeting and convention space.
The 28 story hotel consists of 824 rooms including 9 Hospitality Suites, 2 Presidential Suites, and 202 Guest Room Suites. Included within the hotel is a 25,000 square foot luxury spa, pool and health club.
The Low Rise portion of the project consists of a 50,000 square foot Grand Ballroom; a 18,000 square foot Junior Ballroom, 10,000 square foot of Meeting Rooms; a 4,200 seat world class Theater for concerts and Broadway shows; a 50,000 square foot Casino; Food Court; two Restaurants and a two level Night Club. Adjacent to the Low Rise is a free standing elegant restaurant overlooking a five acre garden of fountains, pool, plaza and multiple planting areas.
The Low Rise is connected to a 2,900 car Parking facility with a casino Valet drop-off and a bus depot.
The entire expansion is self sufficient with its own Central Plant, Back of House Facilities and Employee Cafeteria.
