Scope Of Work

CSC was the Prime Contractor for this project located at the Florida Air National Guard Base in the Jacksonville International Airport. The completed work provided the improvements necessary for the expansion and repair of Taxiway M3 and the main runway apron to meet the requirements of applicable Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC). CSC’s work included saw cutting and concrete removal, concrete and asphalt pavement, storm drainage, site improvement, repair of taxiway joints and spalls, markings removal, pavement markings, and relocation of existing airfield lighting. The challenging aspects of this project included performing construction while the airfield was active and thoroughly daily cleaning to avoid any FOD damages. CSC received an Outstanding CPARS performance evaluation for this project.
