Scope Of Work

Honda Center is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Over the years, the company who runs the arena has invested heavily in lots of areas within the arena bowl or what is known as the “front of house.” Recently, resources have been channeled to improve the look of the “back of house” or the lower service levels of the arena.

One of the projects recently completed was adding a fence around the cooing towers located just off the loading ramp. These towers are what allow the ice to be made for the Anaheim Ducks and other skating events held throughout the year. 

Starting with fence posts over 20 feet tall, the fenced-in area was constructed and Mpressions was asked to make a banner to enhance the look of the normally rugged, operational area of the arena. Careful measurements were taken and Mpressions created a template so the folks at Honda Center could create a file to make the oversized graphic.

Using banner material printed in panels and sewn together, the nearly 60’ long by 17’ tall banner was delivered in one piece. Our installation crew used ladder and ropes to pull the banner into place and then secured it to the fence. The end result is impressive. The client was delighted and told us that the banner was, “Perfect.”
