Scope Of Work
Over 500 Commercial Constructions Professionals joined the Blue Book of Building and Construction at M&T Bank Stadium "Home of the Ravens" to network and start relationships to take their business to the next level. The day started with a seminar on "How to Build Your Bottom Line with The Blue Book Network".
Over 75 business owners, general contractors, propety managers, facility managers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers listened to ways the Blue Book Network could help them with SEO (Sale Engine Optimization) and showing their company and qualifications on Page One on one of the 3600 searches done each day by buyers in the Mid-Atlantic Region Blue Book using Blue Search Technology. They also learned how to maket their business and additional qualifications to their current customers, keeping their company top of mind when their existing customers were making another buying decision. They also learning the areas most help in updating their Proview to be found by the Right buyers 24-7. Finally, they reviewed all the other tools available to them as a Blue Book Network Member including discounts on business, construction, product, and safety training, a mark up take off tool, a messaging system for finding additional subs to work with, and a CRM system built especailly for the commercial construction industry.
Next the group moved to the Showcase floor to meet the over 50 buyers and associations exhibiting on the club level. They enjoyed food and drink while meeting the buyer who are capable of taking their business to the next level!
A Second Seminar was given by Industry Expert Coty Fournier titled "5 Ways to Beat the Lowest Bidder" Her presentation helped the sub-contractor break into the GC's that were on his hot list. This proves that the lowest price isn't the only factor in winning a job.
