Scope Of Work
The new facility was built on a challenging 4.12 acre site which required extensive sitework and engineering, as there was a 14-foot drop in elevation and several sinkholes. Working closely with the architectural, civil engineering, and site contracting team, was vital to the success of the project.
Several design iterations were explored to determine constructability of this 61,000 sq. ft., 104-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, and to ensure the satisfaction of potential residents and the owner/operator’s business plan goals. The two-story building design is considered a ‘hybrid’ Greenhouse model, and is situated adjacent to a golf course, visible from the main dining room, and gathering areas within the four building wings.
