Dr. Christina K. Wilson, founder, and president of Renaissance Development holds a doctorate in architectural history from the University of Virginia. After a distinguished career in adult education — teaching college level courses in architectural history and urban design, as well as developing museum exhibitions and education programs — Dr. Wilson founded Renaissance Development in 2004
What you won’t find on Dr. Wilson’s CV is a fun and varied early work history that started with learning photography from her dad who was a professional photographer, and included working in a flower shop, a convent – yes! – and her college’s art history department. Today, in addition to running a fantastically successful business, she sings in her church choir, spoils her 3 cats (rotten), and is the proud owner of a 2004 Jetta with only 39,000 miles on it. She loves that she can “walk everywhere” in her home neighborhood of Capitol Hill.
Dr. Wilson’s extensive knowledge of historic buildings combined with the meticulous efforts of her company’s skilled artisans has made Renaissance Development the preeminent masonry restoration company in the District of Columbia
