Scope Of Work
This project included the construction of new roadway and four bridges on the Disney World property. Work included construction of approximately 3 miles of four-lane roadway, 10 ponds, and four bridges across a sensitive wetlands. One of the challenges was the construction of the Reedy Creek bridges, as the environmental permits did not allow for any materials or equipment to touch the wetlands floor. Granite overcame this by constructing the permanent bridges from a temporary work trestle.
