Scope Of Work
This project involved widening and reconstructing 12 miles of US 60 and 1 mile of I-10 between the I-10–US 60 Interchange and Val Vista Drive in Tempe and Mesa. The work involved adding travel and auxiliary lanes to the outside on US 60 to make room for high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes on the inside and realigning and widening the ramps. A new flyover ramp bridge was constructed to connect existing HOV lanes on I-10 with new HOV lanes on US 60. The team achieved substantial completion eight months ahead of schedule.
