Scope Of Work
The project consisted of the design and the construction of a new multilane turnpike, including frontage roads and ramps. The schedule was the biggest challenge, as Granite had only 730 days to complete the design, relocate existing utilities, and construct the new highway. Much of the turnpike went through an existing residential area and required extensive communication with the public to keep them informed of our operations. All work was performed in compliance with stringent and highly sensitive environmental regulations.
