Scope Of Work
The Reconstruction of Stillwell Avenue consisted of rebuilding the terminal, including track reconstruction, platform structures, and numerous employee facilities. In addition a new 350’ long train shed was built to hold all four platforms. The new station installed solar panels on the roof to provide power, making it the first subway station to use solar energy. The project was ranked one of NY Construction News, Top Projects in 2005, and was given the “Building Brooklyn” award by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
