Scope Of Work
The Las Vegas Monorail provides service to eight resort properties plus the Las Vegas Convention Center. Construction included 3 miles of dual elevated track, five new passenger stations, the retrofitting of two existing stations, and an operations/maintenance/storage facility with automated control and communications centers. Equipment features include 36 new Bombardier M-VI automated vehicles operating as nine 4-car driverless trains. The project was financed by tax-exempt nonrecourse revenue bonds tied to farebox and advertising revenue.
