Scope Of Work
This project was planned to provide operational and safety improvements to the I-4/US 275 interchange. Changes made with this project will also help construction of the ultimate interchange that the Florida Department of Transportation plans to construct in the future. The project included the construction of dedicated ramps to funnel exiting traffic off the mainline as well as eight new bridges and the widening of 18 existing bridges. In 2007 this project was ranked third in the annual “Top 10 Roads” by Roads & Bridges magazine.
