Scope Of Work
This project involves widening Highway 46 from the Kern County line to Kecks Road, from a two-lane highway to a four-lane expressway. Along with the roadway excavation, work includes the placement of aggregate base, asphalt and concrete paving, and the construction of drainage culverts. Work began in June 2010 and is expected to be completed in September 2011.
