Scope Of Work
Granite performed site preparation for one of the largest power plants in the United States, a 2,250-megawatt electrical generation plant in Arizona. Granite cleared the 150-acre site and installed an irrigation system to precondition the native soils with moisture prior to excavation. At the peak of operations, Granite was moving more than 40,000 cubic yards of material per day. Additional work included improvement to public roadways abutting the site and the construction of a grouted riprap channel.
