Scope Of Work
This project required the construction of a 2.5-mile addition to an existing six-lane divided toll road consisting of new alignment for both northbound and southbound mainlines as well as the construction of 13 bridges. The project passed through a flood plain and an abandoned water utility landfill. This called for the excavation and the embankment of more than 2 million cubic yards of material and six subsurface soil stabilization operations to be performed at the beginning of the project.
