Scope Of Work
This project consisted of the excavation, support, and final lining of an underground detention vault system capable of impounding 71 million gallons of storm water runoff. The underground work required multiple lift rock excavation and support of more than 13,000 linear feet of a variety of tunnel sections, predominately in the Austin chalk formation. This job was awarded the “Build America Award” by the Associated General Contractors of America.
