Nick DeSarno's Bio
Nick is a principal and owner of Rock Spring Contracting. He is involved in all aspects of running the company with a direct focus on business development, financials and operations. Nick is a strong and decisive leader, who is willing to invest and add resources that improve service, reliability and convenience for Rock Spring’s customers.
Prior to starting Rock Spring Contracting, Nick worked for Jones Lang LaSalle as a construction manager for three years. This position gave him extensive experience managing large commercial construction projects. Nick began his career with NVR (NVHomes/Ryan Homes), where he held multiple positions including sales and marketing representative and project manager in the field where he supervised the construction process of new homes.
A native Washingtonian, Nick grew up in Silver Spring and attended St. John’s College High School. He received a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech. Nick currently lives in Kensington with his wife, Lauren, and their four children. He spends his free time with family and coaching youth sports.
Nick Altieri's Bio
As Chief Financial Officer, Nick is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of Rock Spring Contracting’s financial functions including planning, strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency. Nick’s focus is on process improvement and standardization to help drive customer satisfaction and bottom-line results.

Prior to joining Rock Spring Contracting, Nick was Chief Financial & Operations Officer for a NJ based wireless communications company with a focus on infrastructure build outs for the public safety sector in the New York City metro area. Previously, he worked as the Sr. Accounting Manager for a global market research firm. Nick began is career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (pwc) in Public Accounting as an auditor for Fortune 500 clients where his focus was on internal controls and business process audits, reviews and improvements.
Nick holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in Business Information Technology, a Master’s degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
Nick was born and raised in NJ. He enjoys spending time with his wife Marcella and their 2 sons. He is a big sports fan of his alma maters along with the NY Mets and Jets. In any spare time, Nick enjoys playing golf, coaching his kids sports teams, and traveling.
Sean Keegan 's Bio
Sean is a principal and owner of Rock Spring Contracting. Sean is involved in all aspects of running the business with a focus on business development and overall operations. Sean is a forward-thinking leader who is consistently looking ahead to see how Rock Spring can improve the overall experience for its customers. He is committed to making sure Rock Spring’s customers receive the highest level of quality and communication at all times.
Prior to Rock Spring, Sean spent seven years working for International Wall Designs, a commercial and residential paint and wall covering company. During his last three years at International Wall Designs, Sean served as the company’s president, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, as well as the overall direction.
A native Washingtonian, Sean grew up in Rockville and attended Georgetown Prep. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton. Sean lives in Kensington with his wife, Maddie, and their two sons. He loves all of the Washington sports teams and enjoys golfing in his free time.

Chris Leonette's Bio
As Senior Vice President of Construction, Chris manages the company’s drywall and technology project operations, including estimating, project management and overall business development. He supervises all jobs from start to finish by overseeing the estimating and project management staff, field personnel, field operations and project financials. Chris strives to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction and to exceed customers’ expectations at all times.
Prior to working for Rock Spring Contracting, Chris spent six years working for Ryan Homes as a project manager. During his time at Ryan Homes, Chris was ranked annually among the company’s top project managers.

Chris was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton.
Currently, Chris lives in Rockville with his wife and three kids. When Chris is not working, he enjoys listening to live music, watching sports, and spending time with family.
Craig Beamer's Bio
As Vice President of Construction, Craig manages Rock Spring's Demolition division and the field operations in our Mission Critical Division. Craig’s number one focus is always the safety of his field employees. Craig visits ongoing projects regularly to ensure safety, quality and efficiency. Craig understands the role that strong communication plays in his position. He is in constant contact with his Superintendents and the project management team to update them on job status and scheduling. In addition to his field role, Craig is also involved with the estimating department, working with the team to price demolition projects and review other potential drywall work that might be available.
Craig has been in the construction industry for over a decade. Prior to his position with Rock Spring Contracting, Craig was vice president for Professional Deconstruction & Hauling, LLC.
He lives in Brunswick, MD with his wife, Cyndi, and their four children. When he is not working, Craig enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and kayaking /skiing /biking.
Craig Lewis's Bio
As Director of Purchasing, Craig manages the procurement and scheduling of all material deliveries for the company’s drywall and technology divisions. He works with our estimators, project managers and foreman to ensure all projects have the material they need to keep the project on schedule.
Prior to Rock Spring, Craig spent over 20 years on the material
distribution side of the business. Most recently Craig helped Freedom
Materials expand into the Maryland, DC and Northern VA market.
Craig currently lives in Perry Hall, MD with his wife and four
children. When Craig is not working, he enjoys watching the Ravens,
Orioles and his son’s sporting events.
Mark Hallam's Bio
Mark Hallam was born in Washington, DC and raised in its suburbs. He graduated from the now-defunct Charles W. Woodward High School in Rockville, MD. Mark graduated Cum Laude from Princeton University where he played rugby and was a member of the University Cottage Club.
After several years in banking, he went to work in 1984 for his father, John Hallam, in the family business, Ceilings and Partitions, Inc., which for many years was a major area commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling contractor. Mark went on to own and run the company until January of 2021, when he joined forces with Rock Spring Contracting. At Rock Spring, Mark helps manage its Tate Access Floor business with an emphasis on estimating and project management.
Mark has been married to his wife, Margaret, since 1985 and they have raised three children, Matthew, Andrew, and Caroline. Mark and Margaret have lived in the District of Columbia since 1983 and currently reside in the Barnaby Woods neighborhood of DC. Mark enjoys golf, fishing, and reading. He is a lifelong fan of the Washington Football Team, and also enjoys rooting for the Nationals and Capitols.
Ryan Himber's Bio
Ryan joined Rock Spring Contracting in March 2019 and currently is the estimator for the Drywall Division.
Prior to Rock Spring Ryan worked for DAVIS Construction as an Estimating Engineer on the commercial interiors division. Having come from a general contractor Ryan possesses the knowledge on multiple trades and specializes in constructability. He has a bachelors degree in Health Care Management with a minor in Business from Towson University. In addition, he is a LEED accredited professional.
Ryan currently lives in Frederick Maryland with wife Brittany and his silver lab Lola.
Operations
Juan Mateos's Bio
Juan joined Rock Spring in 2019 as a Drywall Mechanic. He took over management of Rock Spring’s drywall prefabrication operation in 2020 and has grown the production and capabilities of the division.

Prior to Rock Spring Juan was a drywall Mechanic with ARC Construction.
Juan lives in Virginia with his wife and daughter and his motto is to treat people the same way he would want them to treat him or his family.
Kat Dugan's Bio
Kate Dugan manages the business operations of Rock Spring. She focuses on improving operational efficiency and processes in all areas of the company and is in charge of Rock Spring’s marketing efforts, HR, and subcontractor compliance.
Kate joined the team after managing the business operations for a residential construction company that shared office space with Rock Spring. Prior to Rock Spring, Kate worked for Sony Electronics, managing the Cybershot Camera business for the US market.
Kate is originally from New Mexico. She received her bachelors degree from the University of Washington and her MBA from UCLA Anderson. She lives in Rockville with her husband and three children.
Kimberly Rivas's Bio
Kimberly Rivas is the Operations Manager for Rock Spring’s Hauling division. She has been with Rock Spring since our Hauling business launched in 2016.
Kimberly manages the Hauling office staff and is our account manager for our Hauling customers. She is also an expert on LEED documentation and requirements.
Prior to joining Rock Spring, Kimberly worked for Selective Demolition and National Deconstruction and has over 8 years of experience in the demolition and hauling industry.

Kimberly was born and raised in Arlington, VA and later moved to MD, graduating from Walter Johnson High School. She currently lives in Gaithersburg with her son.
Larry Gibson's Bio

Larry started in the Access Floor Industry in November 1979 at Tate Contracting where he worked in the warehouse. He worked his way up through Tate in installation, truck driving and Project Management. In 1994 when Tate moved away from installation to focus on manufacturing, Larry joined Ceilings and Partitions, Inc. as a Tate systems Dealer.

Larry joined Rock Spring as the Access Floor Operations Manager in the merger with Ceilings and Partitions Inc.

Larry has 3 sons and 2 step daughters. He and his wife, Paula, enjoy traveling to Florida and Charleston SC throughout the year. He enjoys playing golf and is a fan of the Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens.
Mike Desarno's Bio
As Project Executive for our Mission Critical projects, Mike manages the construction process as a liaison between Rock Spring office, field personnel, suppliers and our customer. He is also the Manager for our Sterling office.
Mike has over 20 years construction experience. He got his start in construction with Ryan Homes where he worked for 15 years in multiple roles including Project Manager, Cost Manager and Sales Representative. Mike continued in construction working for Radco, a regional real estate investment firm, where he directed all aspects of construction and renovation for the company.
Mike has returned home to the DC area where he attended St John's. He received his bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and continued on to earn an MBA from Mount St Mary's College in Emmitsburg, MD. Mike lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, Kathy and their two kids. He enjoys traveling and playing golf in his free time.
Robby Ferguson's Bio
Robby manages Interior and Base Build Drywall projects at Rock Spring. He provides submittals, LEED information and product samples to our customers, and is responsible for tracking all job manpower and material. As a liaison between field personnel and customers, Robby makes sure his projects are performed on budget, on time and with the highest quality standards.

Prior to working at Rock Spring, Robby worked at Craftmark Homes for 7 years building luxury homes in Arlington, Bethesda & Washington DC. With his experience working for a general contractor he possess the knowledge of multiple trades and the overall construction process.
Robby graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Marketing. He currently lives in Gaithersburg, MD with his wife, two sons and two dogs. Robby enjoys playing golf and watching all sports.
Rosa Thomas's Bio
Rosa has been with Rock Spring for over 8 years. Her role has grown with the company and she now manages all details associated with running Human Resources and the HQ office at Rock Spring. She is in charge of payroll, HR issues and compliance, insurance requirements, Rock Spring benefits, and more. Her strong organizational skills help to keep the company running smoothly.
Rosa was an operations manager for the non-profit organization, Identity Inc., prior to coming to Rock Spring. She also worked at Rimsi Corporation as a property account manager and Global Building Supply as a human resource manager.
Rosa lives in Silver Spring with her husband and two kids.
Tim Iuculano's Bio
Tim joined Rock Spring in 2021 as a Project Manager for the Architectural Walls division.
Prior to Rock Spring, Tim worked in outside sale for Brazill Brothers, one of the largest manufacturing reps on the East Coast. Tim’s focus was on educating and selling to electrical contractors, engineers, distributors and end users. Recent jobs of note included the wiring of the Warf and retrofitting of the MGM Casino.
A native Washingtonian, Tim grew up in Silver Spring and attended St. John’s College high school where he played 4 varsity sports. He played Division I lacrosse at Marist College. Tim currently lives in Kensington with his wife, Shawn, their two children Kylie and Olivia, and dog Rocco.
Business Development, Marketing & Sales
Daniel Keegan's Bio
In his role, Daniel meets with general contractors to provide estimates based on the scope of work needed. Strong communication skills are necessary in this position as Daniel is the point of contact person for new customers.
?Prior to coming to Rock Spring, Daniel worked for Vornado/Charles E. Smith, a Real Estate Investment Trust.
Daniel also worked for the Bozzuto Group, a real estate development and construction company in Greenbelt. Daniel graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges where he was a four-year member of the school’s Division 1 lacrosse team.
Daniel lives in Rockville with his wife, Chase and two kids.
Finance & Accounting
Adriana Pineda's Bio
Adriana joined Rock Spring in 2018. She is critical to the day-to-day functioning of our office, assisting with all billing, manpower tracking, human resources and weekly payroll. Adriana runs all of Rock Spring new hire orientation meetings and is a key liaison in the office for all Rock Spring field employees.

Adriana is originally from Colombia and earned her graduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering. She lives in Frederick, MD with her husband (also a Rock Spring Employee) and her son.
Rachel Smith's Bio
As Controller, Rachel is responsible for all accounting and finance operations of the company, including production and analysis of financial reports, maintenance of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of reported financial results.
Rachel began her career in Public Accounting, auditing Residential, Construction and Non-Profit clients. She then moved into the Construction Industry, where she has held positions as Project Accountant at Gensler, Senior Cost Controls Accountant at M.C. Dean and Senior Accountant at Beacon Roofing Supply. Rachel is a licensed CPA in Maryland since 2007.
Rachel was born and raised in East Windsor, NJ. She received her Bachelor’s Degrees in Marketing and Accounting from the University of Maryland. Currently, she lives in Germantown with her husband and son. She loves sports, especially the NJ Devils, NY Giants and the MD Terrapins.

Marlig Arguello's Bio
Marlig assists with all aspects of Office Management at the HQ office in Kensington. She manages the new hire process for field employees and assists in other areas of HR.
Marlig is originally from Nicaragua where she worked in the National Nicaraguan Police in three different divisions.
Marlig lives in Gaithersburg with her daughter and siblings.
