Scope Of Work
This project is the construction of a new Manufacturing Warehouse for Pressure Technology located in Alachua, FL. The new building is approximately 11,840 SF and contains roughly 900 sq ft of warehouse/maintenance area and 1,685 sq ft of office space.
The project consists primarily of a large in-ground manufacturing vessel pit that is 55’x 14’ and 24’ deep to the bottom of the foundations. There are multiple trenches located to the east of the vessel pit for equipment used in hydrostatic pressing fed by (6) 4” electrical conduits each. The pit utilizes Argon gas to pressurize the vessels, which produces the components manufacturer. The structure surrounding the pit consists of steel and masonry components. Overhead doors will be installed to allow for ventilation of the gasses. Interior wall coatings will be used to reduce the risk of moisture issues. Above the warehouse and maintenance floor are three mezzanines for additional use. The entrance to the building is made up of multi-colored split face masonry. This project also includes hardscape for parking and access for deliveries from tractor-trailers.
