Scope Of Work
The U.S. Route 7 Bypass in Brookfield and New Milford, Connecticut involves 2.9 miles of new 4-lane limited access freeway. The project, which started in April 2007, included three bridge structures and the movement of over 800,000 cubic meters of material through undeveloped terrain.
The project was awarded first place Globe Award (tie), Highway Category for contributions to environmental protection and mitigation by the Association Transportation Development Foundation’s (ARTBA-TDF).
