Scope Of Work

Occupying the former portion of Grant Street between Central and Mill Hill avenues, Bridgeport Hospital’s new entrance plaza provides safer pedestrian access between the Hospital and the parking pavilion. The project consisted of underground improvements including new water service and sewer updates; traffic signal improvements; a new drive and turnaround layout with granite pavers; stamped and colored concrete sidewalks; extensive landscaping improvements; a new entrance canopy providing a sheltered ground-level walkway to the Hospital; and a new granite water sculpture that serves as the centerpiece of the redesigned area.
