Scope Of Work
Construction of a new 2,000 sf retail building. As the design/build contractor for this project, MCCI worked closely with the Owners to define costs and supply alternate construction techniques to best maximize their budget constraints.
The final product is a wood frame, slab on grade building utilizing a flat roof that extends beyond the exterior wall above the showroom windows. The exterior has vinyl siding with solid vinyl trim to create a panelized millwork effect at the customer entryway. Combined with the anodized aluminum windows and entry door this building has a virtually maintenance free exterior. Centrally located to the rear of the building is the rooftop mounted HVAC unit. The adhered membrane roof system has 5" of insulation, giving the building much of its energy efficiency. The building placement also provides excellent southerly exposure and the owners are very pleased with their low energy costs.
