Scope Of Work

After a historic rainfall in the summer of 2018, Servpro of Northbrook/Wheeling/Glencoe traveled up to Wisconsin to help our neighbors with the process of cleaning up after massive flooding.  One of our clients in particular, had a massive basement that was completely filled to the top with water.  Pumping out over 300,000 gallons of water was no easy task, especially since there was no power.  Crews had to bring plenty of generators and pumps to the scene in order to even access the basement.  Once the water had been removed, crews had to completely demo the basement of the museum, as well as clean and sanitize it.  As you can see in the pictures, there was not much left to be saved, after flood waters swept through the basement.  Once all contents and building materials were removed, and the basement was sanitary, we began the drying process.  Luckily for the museum, the water did not reach the main level, where all of the attractions were.  If you need help pumping out a basement after a flood or water damage, call the professionals at (847)498-8889.
